3. About SoftCrush
SoftCrush is a social networking app designed to help women discover people, groups, events, shared interests, and conversations in a safer, more intentional space.
SoftCrush may support different types of connections, including friendship, community, networking, shared interests, activities, and romantic connection where users choose that intent.
4. Community Guidelines
SoftCrush is built to be a respectful, safe, and inclusive space. You agree to:
- Treat other users with respect, kindness, and honesty
- Use accurate information and real photos of yourself
- Respect other users’ boundaries, privacy, and consent
- Not engage in harassment, hate speech, abuse, threats, or discrimination
- Not share illegal, sexual, violent, exploitative, or harmful content
- Not solicit money, scam, spam, or commercially exploit other users
- Not impersonate other people, organisations, or communities
5. Content You Post
You retain ownership of content you upload, including photos, profile information, messages, interests, and other content. By uploading content, you grant SoftCrush a licence to display, process, and use that content as needed to provide and improve the service.
6. Connections, Groups, Events, and Messages
SoftCrush allows users to discover people, send connection requests, join groups, RSVP to events, and message connected users. You are responsible for how you interact with others through the app.
We may limit, remove, or moderate content, messages, profiles, groups, event activity, or accounts where needed for safety, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Use the service for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to access our systems without permission
- Scrape data or use automated tools, bots, or scripts
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others
- Send spam, scams, phishing attempts, or unsolicited commercial messages
- Upload malicious code, harmful links, or content designed to damage the service or other users
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm other users, or create safety risks. You can delete your account at any time from Profile or Settings inside the app.
9. Safety Disclaimer
SoftCrush helps people connect, but we cannot verify the identity, intentions, background, or behaviour of every user. Always use your own judgement, protect your personal information, and use caution when meeting people in person.
If you see concerning behaviour, use the block and report tools in the app. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
10. Events Disclaimer
Events shown in SoftCrush may involve in-person or online activity. Users are responsible for deciding whether to attend and for taking reasonable safety precautions. SoftCrush is not responsible for the conduct of users at events or meetups.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
SoftCrush is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that you will make connections through the app.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoftCrush is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SoftCrush after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
